Library and bibliographic heritage
The Natural Science Libraries group together eight Department libraries connected with Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Drug Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology in various locations across the Torino metropolitan area, their resources and library services.
The Natural Science Libraries are open to the scientific community of professors, researchers and students working or studying in the University of Turin and to external users too.

The libraries bibliographic heritage amounts to about 498,000 printed items, about 3000 ancient books, 150 current journal subscription, in addition to UniTo e-resources (databases and E-Journals).
Libraries Services include loans, Interlibrary loans and document delivery, reading, in person and remote reference services (research assistance is available also by live chat on web site), digitization, photocopies and print.
On site reading is generally available for all items in the libraries collections. Restrictions may be applied to antique, rare, unpublished documents and specific materials.
Print and digital collections of the University of Turin are searchable in TUTTO, the UniTO discovery tool that allows you to search for books and journals owned by libraries (Catalogo) or articles, ebooks, digital objects online, open-access or by subscription available, from multiple systems such as catalogs, archives, publisher's platforms, databases.
Internet access is granted in all the libraries, both through dedicated desktop and with users' own devices (via wireless).
