Erasmus+
The Erasmus+ Programme aims to promote the international dimension of Higher Education by improving languages competences, encouraging student and teacher mobility and recognising activities carried out abroad.
The Erasmus+ student programme enables students to spend a period of study, traineeship and/or thesis research at one or more academic or vocational education or training institutions in a foreign country. At the different locations students can attend courses, take the relevant exams, carry out a period of curricular, extra-curricular and post-graduate training, do thesis research and obtain recognition at UniTO of the teaching activity carried out abroad thanks to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
The programme offers an EU contribution to each participant without additional tuition fees at universities and other hosting institutions.
As part of the Erasmus+ programme, the Erasmus+ Study project enables students at the university to spend a period of study, traineeship and/or thesis research at an institute in a foreign country that has signed a bilateral agreement under the Erasmus+ programme with one or more departments of the School of Sciences of Nature.
UniTO publishes yearly a call for applications addressed to students wishing to join the Erasmus+ Study programme.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, the Erasmus+ Traineeship project enables students at the university to undertake curricular, extra-curricular and post-graduate traineeships in companies, training and research centres based abroad by offering a financial contribution to cover part of the expenses incurred during the traineeship period.
The School of Sciences of Nature publishes every year a call for applications for students wishing to join the Erasmus+ Traineeship project.
Consult the Traineeship destinations map with the institutions that have hosted students from the Department in the past years within the Erasmus+ for Traineeship programme.
With the Erasmus+ Partner Countries programme it is possible to spend a study period abroad at universities in non-European countries as part of projects selected yearly at national level.

The University of Turin is coordinating this ambitious project, which involves six European universities in 5 countries and aims to have a transformative impact on teaching, research, and the relationship between university and territory, with the aim of offering excellent, student-centred education in a European and transnational perspective.
