From 20 to 24 July 2026 | ISBE 2026: The International Congress on Behavioural Ecology Comes to Italy for the First Time
Turin to host the 20th International Society for Behavioural Ecology Congress
From 20 to 24 July 2026, the Lingotto Conference Centre in Turin will host ISBE 2026, the congress of the International Society for Behavioural Ecology (www.isbe2026.com), one of the world’s leading scientific events in the field of behavioural ecology.
For the first time in Italy, the congress will be organized by zoologists from the Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology (DBIOS) at the University of Turin.
The event will bring together around 1,000 participants, including internationally renowned scientists, early-career researchers, and professionals, to share and discuss the latest advances in the study of animal behaviour and its evolutionary foundations.
The scientific programme will feature:
- 7 parallel sessions,
- 2 poster exhibitions,
- 5 distinguished keynote speakers,
- and a vibrant social programme, including a welcome event on 19 July and a social dinner on 23 July.
